Apple has released the new HomePod mini 2 smart speaker, essentially keeping the original mini design and adding blue, green, and pink colors. Audio-focused features include Sound Glow lighting that mirrors album artwork, persistent Mac audio over AirPlay, and up to four speakers as surround sound with the new Apple TV 4K; the device launches October 30, 2026, with Siri AI support arriving later.
